The foundation of development for every society is the education of its youth. Keeping this in mind, an NGO UPAY (Underprivileged's Advancement by Youth), was founded in May 2010 by a group of young engineers from IITs and NITs in a small village called Kumbhari in outskirts of Nagpur. Since then it has blossomed into a registered NGO of 29 centres, spread across the country, providing access to education to underprivileged section of society. Using its 2 unique models of education delivery, Footpath Shala (A street to school initiative, targeting children residing on footpaths in urban areas) and Reach n Teach Centre (Regular classroom tuitions to students in rural areas), it is currently catering to 1800 students and aims to reach 5000 students till 2020. While this target seems ambitious, but we have faith in people like you who have supported us in the past and will also help us in future to build a better tomorrow.
